Abstract

This study dealt with the subject of digital transformation and its role in improving organizational effectiveness in the institutes of science and technology of physical and sports activities, where we conducted our field study at the level of some institutes of science and technology of physical and sports activities in eastern Algeria, aiming to know the role of human, material, technical, and legal requirements in improving organizational effectiveness at the level of institutes of science and technology of physical and sports activities, and given the nature of the topic that we dealt with in our study as well as the way to formulate the problem and the purpose of data analysis and study The problem that was posed, we used the descriptive approach by analytical survey method on a random sample of 135 university professors in some institutes of science and technology of physical and sports activities in eastern Algeria, and to answer the questions of the study, we designed a questionnaire form dedicated to this purpose that contained four axes with a total of 45 phrases. Using statistical methods appropriate to the problematic nature of our study, such as the chi-squared test (Ka2), we proved that digital transformation has a role in improving organizational effectiveness in institutes of science and technology of physical and sports activities in Algeria, in addition to a number of results, including that the human, physical, technical and legal requirements of digital transformation have a role in improving organizational effectiveness in sports institutes, as the available digital leaders contribute to the application of technology in management, and contribute to the process of training employees to control the available technological means and devices. The institutes have, or by acquiring them through sufficient financial support allocated for that, but there are no departments and interests specialized in electronic management and do not provide incentives to pioneers in the field of technology at the level of institutes, despite the availability of websites and Facebook pages of their own, in addition to the existence of a legal arsenal that helps and encourages the process of digital transformation, and protects information and data from the risk of cyber attacks and piracy, and among these laws are punishable for attempts to penetrate and reveal the confidentiality of this information and data without permission in order to destroy them or delete them. Finally, let's conclude by providing some suggestions that we believe serve the subject of our study, such as the need to provide a technical team responsible for managing digital transformation, maintaining and updating its infrastructure at the departmental level, with the development of advanced digital programs to protect data and information to ensure cooperation between sports institutes and the central departments of universities or other bodies, in addition to the need to develop advanced digital mechanisms to attract and select technological human competencies and link incentives and rewards to the level of achievement and services provided through a digital system, with the recommendation to establish A special department or department concerned with research and development activities within sports institutes in Algeria, mainly aimed at keeping pace with the rapid changes and developments in the field of technology in the world,With the need to work on developing information security in order to maintain the privacy and confidentiality of information transmitted through electronic networks and ensure its safety from forgery and penetration.
