Abstract

Abstract: This study seeks to uncover the history of one of the oldest schools in western Algeria, the Mazouna School of Islamic jurisprudence. It is considered a cultural symbol, having produced eminent scholars who carried the torch of knowledge and became jurists, scholars, and sheikhs throughout Algeria and beyond. However, it has not received the attention of researchers and has been subjected to neglect and indifference, affecting all its facilities and the treasures of knowledge it contains, such as books and manuscripts. -------------------------------- الملخص : تسعى هذه الدراسة لإماطة اللثام عن تاريخ أعرق المدارس بالغرب الجزائري وهي مدرسة مازونة الفقهية، فهي تعتبر رمزا حضاريا، وأنجبت علماء أفاحل حملو مشعل العلم وأصبحوا فقهاء وعلماء ومشايخ في مختلف القطر الجزائري وخارجه إلا أنها لم تحظى بإهتمام الباحثين و طالها الإهمال واللامبالاة في جميع مرافقها وماتحتويه من كنوز معرفية كالكتب والمخططوطات . ---------------------------------------------- résumé Cette étude cherche à dévoiler l’histoire de la plus ancienne école de l’ouest algérien, l’école de jurisprudence Mazouna. Elle est considérée comme un symbole de civilisation et a produit de grands savants qui ont porté le flambeau du savoir et sont devenus des juristes, des savants et des cheikhs dans diverses régions d'Algérie et à l'étranger. Cependant, il n'a pas reçu l'attention des chercheurs et a été soumis à la négligence et à l'indifférence dans toutes ses installations et les trésors de connaissances qu'il contient, tels que les livres et les cartes.
