Abstract

Summary Mauritania is located in the northwestem part of the african continent,and extends along the shores of the Atlantic Ocean,which makes it a link between the north and west of Africa,in addition to its astronomical location,which gives it a special charcter in terms if natural and human diversity,as this region witnessed important political devlopments represented in the emergence and crystallization of several tribal emirates that played an important role in shaping the political entity of the country,including Brakna,Trarza,and athers,while the activities the economy was diversified and divided into three main sectores :Herding,Agriculture and Trade. ---------------------------------- الملخص تقع موريتانيا في الجزء الشمالي الغربي من القارة الافريقية ، وتمتد على شواطئ المحيط الأطلسي وهذا ما جعلها حلقة وصل بين الشمال وغرب افريقيا. إضافة الوقعها الفلكي الذي الذي يضفى عليها طابعا خاصا من حيث التنوع الطبيعي والبشري ،حيث شهدت هذه المنطقة تطورات سياسية هامة تمثلت في نشأة وتبلور عدة امارات قبلية لعبت دورًا هاما في صياغة الكيان السياسي للبلاد ومن بينها البراكنة والترارزة ومشظوف وغيرهم،في حين أن الأنشطة الاقتصادية تنوعت وانقسمت الى ثلاثة قطاعات أساسية والتي تمثل الملح والذهب والصمغ العربي.. ---------------------------- Résumé La Mauritanie est située la partie nord-ouest du continent africain,s’étendant le long des cotes de l’océan atlantique,ce qui en fait un lien entre l’afrique du nord et l’afrique de l’ouest. Outre sa situation astronomique,qui confére un caractére particulier en termes de diversité naturelle et humaine, cette région a connu d’importants lui développements politique représentés par l’émergence et la cristallisation de plusieures émirats tribaux qui ont joué un role important dans la formation de l’entité politique du pays,notament brakna,trarza,mashtouf et d’autres,tandis que les activités économiques se sont diversifiées et ont été divisées en trois secturs de base,qui sont représentés par l’élevage,l’agriculture et le commerce.
