Swimming is considered one of the fundamental subjects in Physical and Sports Education programs, especially at the third-year undergraduate level (License 3, Semester 5). This course aims to develop students’ theoretical knowledge and practical competencies related to advanced swimming techniques, training methods, and performance analysis. The module focuses on the biomechanical, physiological, and pedagogical aspects of swimming, with emphasis on the four official strokes: freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly. It also addresses starts, turns, finishes, and the international rules governing swimming competitions. Furthermore, the course introduces principles of swimming training, physical preparation, performance evaluation, and error correction techniques. Through theoretical and practical learning, students acquire the skills necessary for teaching, coaching, and analyzing swimming performance according to scientific and educational standards. This module contributes to improving students’ technical efficiency and preparing them for professional practice in the field of aquatic sports and swimming instruction.
