Collapsible soils are characterized by a metastable structure capable of supporting high loads in dry conditions, but undergoing sudden collapse upon saturation due to the breakdown of intergranular bonds. This study aims to investigate an effective and durable treatment solution through the incorporation of a cement–silica fume mixture. An experimental laboratory investigation was conducted to evaluate the influence of these additives on reconstituted soil samples. Identification and direct shear tests revealed a significant improvement in the physical stability and frictional properties of the treated soil. Odometer tests also confirmed the effectiveness of the stabilization process through a substantial reduction in the collapse potential coefficient. The study demonstrates that silica fume acts as an efficient partial substitute for cement, contributing to the elimination of collapse potential while optimizing treatment costs. The identified optimum mixture ensures long-term structural rigidity and reduces the soil sensitivity to water variations.
