Abstract

Abstract This research focuses on tracing the transformations that have occurred in the meanings of several commonly used linguistic expressions in the Arabic language, particularly within the Algerian context, by examining real-life examples that reveal how their meanings have changed from past to present. It shows that many of these expressions, which were once used in specific contexts with clear meanings, now carry new connotations due to changing social and cultural conditions. As a result, they are used in different ways today, sometimes with meanings entirely different from their original ones. The findings indicate that these shifts are not random, but rather a natural outcome of repeated use and people's interaction with language in daily life, which reflects the vitality of language and its continuous responsiveness to changes in reality. The study also highlights the role that these expressions play in conveying attitudes and emotions, and how they have evolved from traditional phrases into flexible means of expression that align with the spirit of the times and are widely used in media and everyday speech, all while maintaining their cultural roots. -------------------- ملخص يركز هذا البحث على تتبع التحولات التي طرأت على معاني عدد من المسكوكات اللغوية المتداولة في اللغة العربية، خاصة في السياق الجزائري، من خلال دراسة نماذج واقعية تكشف كيف تغيرت دلالاتها بين الماضي والحاضر. وتبيّن أن كثيرًا من هذه العبارات التي كانت تُستخدم في سياقات محددة بمعانٍ واضحة، أصبحت تحمل اليوم دلالات جديدة بفعل تغيّر الظروف الاجتماعية والثقافية، مما جعلها تُستعمل بأساليب مختلفة، وأحيانًا بمعانٍ مغايرة تمامًا، وتُظهر النتائج أن هذه التحولات لم تكن عشوائية، بل نتيجة طبيعية للاستخدام المتكرر وتفاعل الناس مع اللغة في حياتهم اليومية، وهو ما يعكس حيوية اللغة واستجابتها المستمرة لمتغيرات الواقع. كما يسلط الضوء على الدور الذي تلعبه المسكوكات في التعبير عن المواقف والمشاعر، وكيف تحولت من أدوات تراثية إلى وسائط تعبيرية مرنة تواكب روح العصر وتُستخدم في الإعلام والحديث اليومي، دون أن تفقد جذورها الثقافية. --------------- Cette recherche se concentre sur le suivi des transformations survenues dans les significations d’un certain nombre de locutions linguistiques courantes en langue arabe, notamment dans le contexte algérien, à travers l’étude de modèles concrets révélant comment leurs sens ont évolué entre le passé et le présent. Il apparaît que bon nombre de ces expressions, autrefois utilisées dans des contextes précis avec des significations claires, portent aujourd’hui des connotations nouvelles en raison de l’évolution des conditions sociales et culturelles, ce qui a entraîné des usages différents, parfois avec des significations complètement changées. Les résultats montrent que ces transformations ne sont pas le fruit du hasard, mais relèvent d’une évolution naturelle due à l’usage répété et à l’interaction quotidienne des gens avec la langue, révélant ainsi sa vitalité et sa capacité constante à s’adapter aux réalités changeantes. La recherche met également en lumière le rôle que jouent ces locutions dans l’expression des situations et des émotions, et comment elles sont passées d’outils traditionnels à des moyens d’expression souples et modernes, utilisés dans les médias et la communication quotidienne, tout en conservant leurs racines culturelles.
