contribution à létude des traitements de maitrise des cycles à basse de progestagène chez la vache de population lacale brune de l'atlas et facteurs infacteurs

Abstract

In order to determine the response of the local cow population to cycle management treatments, two progesterone-based treatments (CIDR® and CRESTAR®) have been carried in 12 cows and three private farms in the Oued Echouk region, wilaya de la Souk-Ahras. Selected cows have an average age of 7.17 ± 3.78 years, 80% have a body condition score of 2.5. The treatments application gave a good response (91.66%) although the rate of cyclicity before treatment is very low (8.33%). Except the correct response to treatment of cows older than 90 days, the relation study between the induction rate and influencing factors revealed no pointed differences. The pregnacy rate at 50 days was 41.66% and univariate analysis revealed a single factor associated with pregnacy rate fluctuatuion.
