SITUATION DE L’ELEVAGE ET CARACTERISATION MORPHOLOGIQUE DES OVINS DE LA RACE OULED DJELLAL DANS L’EST ALGERIEN (REGION DE SOUK AHRAS)

Abstract

L'objectif de cette étude est de conduire une enquête sur la situation de l’élevage ovin et une caractérisation morphologique de la race Ouled Djellal dans la région de Souk -Ahras. Nous avons réalisé une enquête sur terrain avec 13 éleveurs de l’espèce ovine à région de Souk Ahras par la préparation d'un questionnaire d'enquête qui contient divers aspects de l’élevage et la production ovine. De plus, nous avons appliqué 18 mensurations morphologiques sur 19 têtes ovines (Longueur de la tête=30,84cm, Longueur des oreilles =19,52cm, Longueur du cou=36,68cm, Longueur du corps=133,10cm, Longueur du tronc=92,31cm, Longueur du bassin=33,36cm, Largeur aux iliums= 26,10cm, Largeur aux ischions=19,31cm, Tour de poitrine=109,26cm, Profondeur de poitrine= 44,73cm, Largeur de poitrine=27,21cm, Hauteur au garrot= 88cm, Hauteur au sacrum=84,68cm, Hauteur au dos=84,52cm, Profondeur du flanc=44,47cm, Longueur de la laine=10,26cm, Tour du canon=10,68cm, Longueur de la queue=53,31cm). Les interviews avec les éleveurs ont concerné les aspects suivants : Identité d’éleveur (Sexe et âge des éleveurs : Ce sont tous des mâles d'âge entre 24 et 60 ans), descriptif de la ferme (Type de la ferme : tous possèdent des fermes privé), Les races disponibles (Ouled Djellal, race Arbia), la gestion de troupeau (Reproduction, nutrition et statut sanitaire), le volet social et économique (période de vente des animaux aux consommateurs : tous les éleveurs ventent souvent leurs animaux dans les occasions), et les relations avec les parties prenantes.
