Abstract : The international dedication to the principle of the right to self-determination has been recognized as significant by global and regional international organizations, as well as the important and effective role of the United Nations in preserving the right of peoples to determinetheirown fate, through the regulations of the General Assembly and Security Council resolutionsthat have practicallyenshrined the principle. Therefore, the use of this right as an international mechanismaims to achieve the independence of countries that are subject to colonialism, in addition to legitimizing the legal right of peoples to self-determination, based on international treaties. ......................... ملخص: ان التكريس الدولي لمبدأ حق الشعوب في تقرير المصير عرف أهمية على صعيد المنظمات الدولية العالمية والإقليمية إضافة دور الأمم المتحدة المهم والفعال في الحفاظ على حق الشعوب في تقرير مصيرها وذلك من خلال لوائح الجمعية العامة وقرارات مجلس الامن التي كرست المبدأ عمليا، لهذا فان استعمال هذا الحق كآلية دولية يقصد به تحقيق استقلال الدول التي تخضع للاستعمار، إضافة الى إضفاء الشرعية القانوني لحق الشعوب في تقرير نصيرها يستند على المواثيق الدولية. .............................. Résumé : La consécration internationale du principe du droit des peuples à l'autodétermination a reconnu son importance au niveau des organisations internationales mondiales et régionales, ajoutant le rôle important et l'efficacité des nations dans la préservation du droit des peuples à l'autodétermination, par le biais des règlements de l'Assemblée générale et des résolutions du conseil de sécurité qui ont attribué le principe dans la pratique, de sorte que l'utilisation de ce droit En tant que mécanisme international, il vise à obtenir l'indépendance des pays soumis au colonialisme , en plus de légitimer le droit des peuples de choisir leurs partisans sur la base des conventions internationales.
