Abstract

summary Sufism is considered one of the profound intellectual and spiritual paths in Islamic civilization, as it earnestly seeks the purification of the soul, the cleansing of the heart, and unity with the purest meanings of monotheism. Sufism emerged as a reaction to people's preoccupation with worldly appearances and the neglect of inner devotion, while giving great attention to outward practices. The subject of our research, titled "Echoes of Sufism in the Novel Small Death by Mohammed Hasan Alwan," aims to shed light on the key manifestations of Sufism as presented in the novel. In the first chapter, we devoted our focus to defining the concepts and terminology of Sufism, both linguistically and terminologically, alongside its origins. We addressed both Islamic and non-Islamic sources, explored the influence of Sufi literature and the language in which it was written, and discussed some of the symbolic elements of Sufism. We also introduced some prominent Sufi figures such as Al-Hallaj and Ibn Arabi. In the second chapter, we extracted the manifestations and echoes of Sufism in the novel, through aspects such as space, time, and the Sufi language in which the novel was written. We also explored the key Sufi characters and the portrayal of women in Sufi thought. This study relied on the descriptive method based on analytical tools. Finally, we presented the scholarly context of the study and the most important findings reached through this research. ------------------------ ملخص يعتبر التصوف أحد المسارات الفكرية والروحية العميقة في الحضارة الإسلامية اذ يسعى للحثيث نحو صفاء الروح ومقاء القلب والاتحاد مع معاني التوحيد الخالص. وقد جاء التصوف كرد فعل على الانشغال بالمظاهر الدنيوية وتقصير بعض الناس في العمل بالباطن كما يهتمون بالمظاهر. وقد جاء موضوع بحثنا الموسوم ب" اصداء التصوف في رواية موت صغير لمحمد حسن علوان" ليسلط الضوء على اهم مظاهر التصوف التي جاءت في الرواية، ولقد خصصنا الفصل الأول لتحديد المفاهيم والمصطلحات للتصوف وذلك من خلال تعريفه لغة واصطلاحا مع نشأته وذكر مصادره الإسلامية وغير الإسلامية مع أخذ لمحة عن هذا الادب الصوفي واللغة التي كتب بها كما تطرقنا الى ذكر بعض الرموز الصوفية وفي الأخير التعريف ببعض أعلام التصوف أمثال الحلاج وابن عربي. أما الفصل الثاني فقد قمنا باستخراج مظاهر وأصداء التصوف في الرواية وذلك من خلال المكان والزمان واللغة الصوفية التي كتبت بها الرواية واهم شخصيات التصوف مع ذكر صورة المرآة عند المتصوفة وهذا وفق المنهج الوصفي اعتمادا على آلية التناص و في الاخير خاتمة ملمة لأهم النتائج التي توصلنا اليها من خلال هذا البحث. ---------------- Résumé Le soufisme est considéré comme l’un des courants intellectuels et spirituels profonds de la civilisation islamique. Il vise à la pureté de l’âme, à la purification du cœur et à l’union avec les significations les plus pures du monothéisme. Le soufisme est apparu comme une réaction à l'attachement excessif aux apparences mondaines et au manquement de certains à la spiritualité intérieure, au profit des formes extérieures. Le sujet de notre recherche, intitulé « Les échos du soufisme dans le roman La Petite Mort de Mohammed Hassan Alwan », vise à mettre en lumière les principales manifestations du soufisme présentes dans le roman. Dans le premier chapitre, nous avons consacré notre étude à la définition des concepts et des terminologies soufies, à travers une approche linguistique et terminologique, en abordant son origine, ses sources islamiques et non islamiques, ainsi que les caractéristiques de cette littérature mystique et la langue dans laquelle elle est écrite. Nous avons également évoqué certains symboles soufis et présenté quelques grandes figures du soufisme, telles que Al-Hallaj et Ibn Arabi. Le deuxième chapitre est consacré à l'extraction des manifestations et des résonances du soufisme dans l'œuvre, à travers l’étude de l’espace, du temps, de la langue soufie utilisée dans le roman, ainsi que des personnages soufis importants. Nous avons également étudié la représentation de la femme dans la pensée soufie. Cette étude s’est basée sur une méthode descriptive en s’appuyant sur une analyse approfondie. Enfin, nous avons présenté un état de la recherche ainsi que les résultats les plus importants auxquels nous sommes parvenus à travers cette étude.
