Produits bios dotés d’activité synergétiques avec les antibiotiques

Abstract

The aim of this study is to evaluate the antibacterial activity of endowed bio-products and their synergistic activity with antibiotics. Our study focuses on aqueous extracts and essential oils from six local aromatic plants and their combinations with antibiotics from different families against resistant strains (Enterobacter sakazakii, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Enterobacter cloacae). Aromatogram in a solid medium (disk diffusion method) was used to evaluate the activity of these endowed bio-products as well as the essential oil/antibiotic combinations. The aqueous extracts showed no antibacterial activity. In contrast, some of the tested essential oils showed effects on the three strains, and others oils did not. The essential oils of plant 01, plant 04, and plant 05 were found to be the most effective, with a more pronounced activity on the studied strains. Three types of interactions were observed during HE/ATB combinations (antagonistic, indifferent, and synergistic). The determination of Minimum Inhibitory Concentrations was carried out by the microdilution method in liquid medium. Notre étude porte sur des extraits aqueux et des huiles essentielles issues de six plantes aromatiques locales et leurs associations avec des antibiotiques de différentes familles sur des souches résistantes (Cronobacter sakazakii, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Enterobacter cloacae). L'aromatogramme en milieu solide (méthode des disques) a été utilisé pour évaluer l'activité de ces produits bios dotés ainsi que les associations huiles essentielles/antibiotiques. Les extraits aqueux n'ont montré aucune activité antibactérienne. En revanche, certaines huiles essentielles testées ont montré des effets plus ou moins importants sur les trois souches, et d'autres non. Les huiles essentielles de la plante 01, plante 04 et plante 05 se sont avérées les plus efficaces, avec une activité plus prononcée sur les souches étudiées. Trois types d'interactions ont été observés lors de l'association HE/ATBs (antagonistes, indifférentes et synergiques). La détermination des Concentrations Minimales Inhibitrices a été effectuée par la méthode de micro dilution en milieu liquide. Les résultats obtenus montrent que les huiles essentielles donnent des effets antibactériens à de faibles concentrations.
