Abstract

Abstract This study falls within the realm of cultural criticism and postcolonial journals, as it seeks to explore the mechanisms of intellectual resistance as a counter-epistemological practice aimed at dismantling the centralized Western narrative and challenging the patterns of domination that perpetuated the absence of the Palestinian narrative. The research has taken the intellectual achievements of humanist thinker Edward Said, particularly his book "The Palestinian Question and American Society," as an applied model and theoretical reference to reveal the ways in which the word is transformed from a tool of academic reflection into an act of resistance struggle capable of restoring consciousness formation and producing an alternative narrative. Based on the descriptive-analytical method, the study was based on two integrated chapters, the first of which was devoted to rooting the concept of intellectual resistance and its approach through the readings of several eminent Arab intellectuals, starting with Abdel Wahab Messiri, who was busy dismantling the Zionist spirit and revealing its substitutive character, through Azmi Bishara, who made the question of truth a gateway to liberation and confrontation with apartheid, to Michel Aflaq, whose intellectual project was linked to the issues of rebirth and unity, while monitoring the role of alternative media, such as the media, resistance literature, the student movement and international organizations, in transmission. The second chapter was devoted to the analysis of Saidi's discourse and to tracing Edward Said's strategies for exposing the mechanisms of semiotic and political distortion practiced by American academic and media institutions towards Palestinian identity. The keywords of the study are: Intellectual Resistance, Edward Said, Dismantling of Discourse, Western Hegemony, The Palestinian Question, Cultural Criticism, The Zionist Spirit, and Alternative Narrative ------------------ الملخص تتأطّر هذه الدراسة ضمن حقل النقد الثقافي ومراجعات ما بعد الكولونيالية، إذ تسعى إلى استكشاف آليات المقاومة الفكرية بوصفها ممارسةً معرفيةً مضادّة تستهدف تفكيك السردية الغربية المركزية ومساءلة أنساق الهيمنة التي كرّست تغييب الرواية الفلسطينية. وقد اتخذ البحث من المنجز الفكري للمفكر الإنساني إدوارد سعيد، ولا سيما كتابه «القضية الفلسطينية والمجتمع الأمريكي»، نموذجاً تطبيقياً ومرجعاً نظرياً للكشف عن الكيفيات التي تتحول بها الكلمة من أداة للتأمل الأكاديمي إلى فعل نضالي مقاوم قادر على إعادة تشكيل الوعي وإنتاج سردية بديلة. واعتماداً على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، انبنت الدراسة على فصلين متكاملين؛ خصص أولهما لتأصيل مفهوم المقاومة الفكرية ومقاربته من خلال قراءات عدد من أبرز المفكرين العرب، بدءاً بعبد الوهاب المسيري الذي انشغل بتفكيك العقل الصهيوني وكشف طابعه الإحلالي، مروراً بعزمي بشارة الذي جعل من سؤال الحقيقة مدخلاً للتحرر ومواجهة الأبارتايد، وصولاً إلى ميشيل عفلق الذي ارتبط مشروعه الفكري بأسئلة النهضة والوحدة، مع رصد دور الوسائط البديلة، من إعلام وأدب مقاوم وحراك طلابي ومنظمات دولية، في نقل الذات الفلسطينية من هامش التمثيل المشوَّه إلى مركز الوعي العالمي. أما الفصل الثاني فقد انصرف إلى تحليل الخطاب السعيدي وتتبع استراتيجيات إدوارد سعيد في تعرية آليات التشويه السيميائي والسياسي التي مارستها المؤسسات الأكاديمية والإعلامية الأمريكية تجاه الهوية الفلسطينية. وقد خلصت الدراسة إلى أن المقاومة الفكرية لدى إدوارد سعيد أسهمت في زحزحة الصور النمطية الراسخة في المخيال الغربي واستعادة الصوت الفلسطيني المغيَّب، مؤكدةً أن القضية الفلسطينية، في جوهرها العميق، ليست مجرد صراع سياسي، بل هي معركة وعي وثقافة وتثبيت للحقيقة. وتتمثل الكلمات المفتاحية للدراسة في: المقاومة الفكرية، إدوارد سعيد، تفكيك الخطاب، الهيمنة الغربية، القضية الفلسطينية، النقد الثقافي، العقل الصهيوني، والسردية البديلة -------------------------- Résumé Cette étude s'inscrit dans le domaine de la critique culturelle et des revues postcoloniales, car elle cherche à explorer les mécanismes de la résistance intellectuelle en tant que pratique contre-épistémologique visant à démanteler le récit occidental centralisé et à remettre en question les schémas de domination qui perpétuaient l'absence du récit palestinien. La recherche a pris les réalisations intellectuelles du penseur humaniste Edward Said, en particulier son livre « La question palestinienne et la société américaine », comme modèle appliqué et référence théorique pour révéler les façons dont le mot est transformé d'un outil de réflexion académique en un acte de lutte de résistance capable de restaurer Former la conscience et produire un récit alternatif. Basée sur la méthode descriptive-analytique, l'étude s'appuyait sur deux chapitres intégrés, dont le premier était consacré à enraciner le concept de résistance intellectuelle et son approche à travers les lectures de plusieurs intellectuels arabes éminents, à commencer par Abdel Wahab Messiri, qui s'affairait à démanteler l'esprit sioniste et à révéler son caractère substitutif, passant par Azmi Bishara, qui a fait de la question de la vérité une porte d'entrée vers la libération et la confrontation à l'apartheid, jusqu'à Michel Aflaq, dont le projet intellectuel était lié aux questions de la renaissance et de l'unité, tout en surveillant le rôle des médias alternatifs, tels que les médias, la littérature de résistance, le mouvement étudiant et les organisations internationales, dans la transmission.
