Abstract

Abstract : This thesis, entitled "The Rhetoric of Metaphor in Belkacem Khmar's Diwan "Awraq": From Imagination to Pragmatics," examines metaphor in poetry from a pragmatic perspective. It aims to answer the central question: To what extent did the poet Mohamed Belkacem Khmar, in his Diwan "Awraq", succeed in shifting metaphor from the imaginative realm to the pragmatic sphere? The thesis comprises two chapters: a theoretical chapter addressing the concepts of rhetoric and metaphor, their history and classifications among classical and modern Arab poets, the definition of pragmatics, its key issues, its intersection with other disciplines, and its application to metaphor. The applied chapter focuses on metaphor and how the poet employs it pragmatically through his analysis of poems. For example, in the poem "The Explosion," he uses speech acts in declarative statements: "My people have exploded here in Cairo." Here, he conveys the news while simultaneously employing a metaphor: "My people have exploded." He intends a physical explosion, likening the people to a physical object that explodes. We also observe that pragmatics shaped the analysis. A fertile ground for studying metaphor in a new way, as it contributed to moving it from the imaginative side to the pragmatic side in poetic analysis. It reached several conclusions, including: that metaphor occupies a prominent place in the procedural side of pragmatics. The importance of the pragmatic approach was represented in employing metaphor and trying to link it to the external contexts of the discourse. This allowed for revealing the secrets of the new metaphor in pragmatic analysis. ------------------------ ملخص: تتناول هذه المذكرة الموسومة بـ: بلاغة الاستعارة في ديوان "أوراق" لمحمد بلقاسم خمار من التخييل إلى التداول في نماذج مختارة دراسة الاستعارة في الشعر من منظور تداولي، وللإجابة عن سؤال محوري مفاده :إلى أي مدى استطاع الشاعر محمد بلقاسم خمار في ديوانه "أوراق" الانتقال بالاستعارة من الجانب التخييلي إلى الفضاء التداولي ؟تطرقت فيه إلى فصلين: فصل نظري: تناولت فيه مفهوم البلاغة والاستعارة ،وتاريخهما وتقسيماتهما عند العرب القدامى والمحدثين ،وتعريف التداولية، وذكر أهم قضاياها وتداخلها مع العلوم الأخرى ،وكيفية توظيفها للاستعارة. أمّا الفصل التطبيقي: فقد ركزت فيه على الاستعارة ،وكيف وظفها الشاعر تداوليا من خلال ما تم التطرق إليه في القصائد في قوله مثلا :في أفعال الكلام في الإخباريات في قصيدة الانفجار :-تفجّر شعبي هنا القاهرة - هنا ينقل لنا الخبر وفي نفس الوقت يوظف استعارة في قوله: "تفجّر شعبي"،وقصده الانفجار المادي فشبه الشعب بالشيء المادي الذي ينفجر ،كما نلاحظ أن التداولية شكّلت أرضية خصبة في دراسة الاستعارة بحلة جديدة إذ عمدت أسهمت على نقلها من الجانب التخييلي إلى الجانب التداولي في التحليل الشعري،وقد توصلت عديدة أذكر منها : أن الاستعارة تحتل مكانة بارزة في الجانب الإجرائي للتداولية، كما تمثلت أهمية المنهج التداولي في توظيف الاستعارة ،ومحاولة ربطها بالسياقات الخارجية للخطاب ،وهذا ما أتاح الكشف عن خبايا الاستعارة الجديدة في التحليل التداولي. -------------------- Résumé Cette thèse, intitulée « La rhétorique de la métaphore dans le Diwan "Awraq" de Mohamed Belkacem Khmar : de l’imagination à la pragmatique », examine la métaphore en poésie d’un point de vue pragmatique. Elle vise à répondre à la question centrale suivante : dans quelle mesure le poète Mohamed Belkacem Khmar, dans son Diwan "Awraq", est-il parvenu à faire basculer la métaphore du domaine de l’imaginaire à celui de la pragmatique ? La thèse comprend deux chapitres : un chapitre théorique abordant les concepts de rhétorique et de métaphore, leur histoire et leurs classifications chez les poètes arabes classiques et modernes, la définition de la pragmatique, ses enjeux principaux, son intersection avec d’autres disciplines et son application à la métaphore. Le chapitre appliqué se concentre sur la métaphore et la manière dont le poète l’emploie de façon pragmatique à travers l’analyse de ses poèmes. Par exemple, dans le poème « L’Explosion », il utilise des actes de langage dans des énoncés déclaratifs, tels que : « Mon peuple a explosé ici, au Caire. » Ici, il transmet l'information tout en employant une métaphore, évoquant une explosion physique. Il compare les personnes à un objet physique qui explose. On observe également que la pragmatique… a constitué un terrain fertile pour une nouvelle approche de la métaphore, contribuant à la faire passer du domaine imaginatif au domaine pragmatique dans l'analyse poétique. Plusieurs conclusions ont été tirées, notamment : la métaphore occupe une place prépondérante dans la dimension procédurale de la pragmatique. L'importance de l'approche pragmatique s'est manifestée dans l'emploi de la métaphore et sa mise en relation avec le contexte externe du discours. Ceci a permis de percer les secrets de cette nouvelle métaphore grâce à l'analyse pragmatique
