Abstract

Abstract In light of the contradictions witnessed in the modern and contemporary Arab reality across cultural, social, and political levels, the use of historical imagination has emerged as a mechanism for rewriting history from a subjective and aesthetic perspective. The modern novel has become a means of revealing the unspoken and attempting to understand the past by evoking historical figures and events and reinterpreting them through contemporary visions. This study aims to shed light on the manifestations of historical imagination in the Moroccan Arabic novel by examining the narrative techniques used to incorporate historical material, in order to highlight contemporary issues such as captivity, conflict, resistance, and the tension between margin and center. --------------- ملخص في ظل ما يشهده الواقع العربي الحديث و المعاصر من تناقضات شملت جميع الاصعدة الثقافية و الاجتماعية و السياسية، و قد برز توظيف المتخيل التاريخي كآلية لإعادة كتابة التاريخ من منظور ذاتي و جمالي، حيث اصبحت الرواية الحديثة وسيلة للكشف عن المسكوت عنه و محاولة لفهم الماضي، من خلال استحضار شخصيات و أحداث تاريخية و إعادة تأويلها وفق رؤى معاصرة و قد سعت هذه الدراسة الى تسليط الضوء على تمظهرات المتخيل التاريخي في الرواية العربية المغربية، من خلال اتباع فنيات توظيف المادة التاريخية، لإبراز قضايا معاصرة كالأسر، الصراع ، المقاومة ، الهامش و المركز . --------------------

À la lumière des contradictions qui traversent la réalité arabe moderne et contemporaine aux plans culturel, social et politique, l’imaginaire historique s’est imposé comme un outil essentiel de réécriture du passé, dans une perspective à la fois subjective et esthétique. Le roman moderne devient ainsi un espace de dévoilement de l’indicible et une tentative de relecture critique de l’histoire, en convoquant personnages et événements historiques, pour les reconfigurer à travers des prismes contemporains. La présente étude se propose d’explorer les manifestations de cet imaginaire historique dans le roman marocain d’expression arabe, en s’attachant aux procédés narratifs mobilisés pour intégrer la matière historique. Elle vise à mettre en relief des problématiques actuelles telles que la captivité, le conflit, la résistance, ainsi que les dynamiques de tension entre la marge et le centre.
