Abstract

Abstract: The Arab world enjoys a strategic location on the one hand, and possesses a rich cultural and historical heritage on the other. This has made it a target of external ambitions and designs. The region has witnessed numerous wars and conflicts, perhaps the most prominent and protracted being the Arab-Israeli conflict, whose roots stretch deep into history. This entity has worked to usurp land and dispossess its indigenous inhabitants. The Arab-Israeli conflict is an ancient human phenomenon that has accompanied societies since their inception. Saadallah Wannous, one of the most important pioneers of Syrian theater, embody this in the play “The Rape”. His plays addressed many issues, such as politics, commitment, and politicization. His plays aimed to incite and mobilize societies for change. Therefore, the Arab-Israeli conflict is an existential struggle before it is a historical one. -------------------- الملخص: يتمتع الوطن العربي بموقع استراتيجي عام هذا من جهة، وإحتوائه على إرث حضاري وتاريخي من جهة اخرى، هذا ما جعله محل انظار واطماع خارجية، حيث شهد هذا الوطن العديد من الحروب والصرعات، ولعل اكثرها حضورا وأطولها مدة الصراع العربي الإسرائيلي الذي يعود جذوره إلى أعماق التاريخ، حيث عمل هذا الكيان على اغتصاب الأرضي ونزعها من السكان الأصليين. فالصراع العربي الإسرائيلي ظاهرة إنسانية قديمة رافقت المجتمعات منذ نشأتها، وهذا ما تم تجسيده في مسرحية الاغتصاب لسعد الله ونوس الذي يعتبر من أهم رواد المسرح السوري، حيث عالج مسرحه العديد من القضايا كالسياسة، الالتزام، والتسيس فكان مسرحه يهدف إلى التحريض وشحن المجتمعات من أجل التغير وعليه فالصراع العربي الإسرائيلي صراع وجود قبل أن يكون تاريخ. ------------------------- Résumé: Le monde arabe bénéficie d'une situation stratégique et d'un riche patrimoine culturel et historique, ce qui en fait la cible d'ambitions et de desseins extérieurs. La région a été le théâtre de nombreuses guerres et conflits, dont le plus important et le plus long est sans doute le conflit israélo-arabe, dont les racines plongent profondément dans l'histoire. Cette entité s'est employée à usurper des terres et à déposséder ses habitants autochtones. Le conflit israélo-arabe est un phénomène humain ancien qui accompagne les sociétés depuis leurs origines. Il est incarné dans la pièce « Le Viol » de Saadallah Wannous, l'un des pionniers les plus importants du théâtre syrien. Ses pièces abordent de nombreuses thématiques, telles que la politique, l'engagement et la politisation. Elles visent à inciter et à mobiliser les sociétés en faveur du changement. Ainsi, le conflit israélo-arabe est avant tout une lutte existentielle.
