Etude phytochimique et analyse de l’activité antioxydante et antibactérienne d’une plante médicinale (Aristolochia longaL) de la région de Souk Ahras

Abstract

Aristolochia is a medicinal plant of the family Aristolochiaceae, used in traditional medicine, the qualitative analysis of the extracts is estimated by a chemical screening, which revealed the presence of certain phenolic compounds, the total polyphenol content was determined by the Folin-Ciocalteu method. The antioxidant activity wasevaluated using two different tests: the DPPH test and the FRAP test. For the first IC50 is estimated graphically, for the second the increase in Absorbance revealed a high antioxidant activity of the ethanolic extract.
