ENQUETE ETHNOBOTANIQUE QUANTITATIVE SUR LES PLANTES ORNEMENTALES DANS LA VILLE DE SOUK-AHRAS

Abstract

This study was conducted within the framework of a quantitative ethnobotanical survey focusing on ornamental plants in the city of Souk Ahras. Its main objectives were to inventory the local floristic diversity and to assess the ethnobotanical importance of these species in urban green spaces. The floristic inventory identified 50 species belonging to 34 botanical families. A quantitative ethnobotanical survey involving 200 participants, predominantly over 50 years of age, was carried out to evaluate the knowledge and uses associated with these species using the Frequency of Citation (FC) and Relative Frequency of Citation (RFC) indices. The results revealed a remarkable plant diversity, dominated by the families Rosaceae, Asteraceae, and Geraniaceae. They also highlighted the importance of ornamental species in enhancing the living environment, preserving local plant heritage, and improving the ecological quality of urban green spaces. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ تندرج هذه الدراسة في إطار بحث إثنوبوتاني كمي حول نباتات الزينة في مدينة سوق أهراس، وتهدف إلى جرد التنوع النباتي المحلي وتقييم الأهمية الإثنوبوتانية لهذه الأنواع داخل المساحات الخضراء الحضرية. أسفر الجرد النباتي عن إحصاء 50 نوعًا نباتيًا تنتمي إلى 34 عائلة نباتية. كما أُجريت دراسة إثنوبوتانية كمية شملت 200 مشارك، غالبيتهم من الأشخاص الذين تتجاوز أعمارهم 50 سنة، بهدف تقييم المعارف والاستعمالات المرتبطة بهذه الأنواع بالاعتماد على مؤشري تكرار الاستشهاد (FC) والتكرار النسبي للاستشهاد (RFC). أظهرت النتائج وجود تنوع نباتي ملحوظ تهيمن عليه عائلات الورديات (Rosaceae) والمركبات (Asteraceae) وإبرة الراعي (Geraniaceae). كما أبرزت أهمية نباتات الزينة في تجميل الإطار المعيشي، والحفاظ على التراث النباتي المحلي، وتحسين الجودة البيئية للمساحات الخضراء الحضرية. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cette étude s’inscrit dans le cadre d’une enquête ethnobotanique quantitative portant sur les plantes ornementales dans la ville de Souk Ahras. Elle vise à inventorier la diversité floristique locale et à évaluer l’importance ethnobotanique de ces espèces dans les espaces verts urbains. L’inventaire floristique a permis de recenser 50 espèces appartenant à 34 familles botaniques. Une enquête ethnobotanique quantitative menée auprès de 200 participants, majoritairement âgés de plus de 50 ans, a permis d’évaluer les connaissances et les usages associés à ces espèces à l’aide des indices FC et RFC. Les résultats révèlent une diversité végétale notable, dominée par les Rosaceae, les Asteraceae et les Geraniaceae. Ils mettent en évidence l’importance des espèces ornementales dans l’embellissement du cadre de vie, la préservation du patrimoine végétal local et l’amélioration de la qualité écologique des espaces verts urbains.
