Les méthodes plébiscitées en médecine complémentaire : Etude de cas

Abstract

This work focuses on the most popular methods of complementary medicine, particularly in Souk Ahras. To this end, we first conducted an electronic questionnaire, lasting 5 months (from October 13, 2022 to February 13, 2023), with 205 people. We have seen through them the extent of their knowledge in complementary medicine, as well as the reasons why they resort to it, their vision of complementary therapies. We also conducted a study in two centers specialized in complementary medicine (74 people in the first center, and 106 people in the second), in which we obtained the modalities of complementary treatments in each center, the number of women and men, the age group. During this study, we found that the majority of the treated patients are between 21 and 40 years old, from the state of Souk Ahras and other states, most of them are employees of different sectors, and the others are students and housewives. Our results indicated that women are the most inclined category to complementary medicines (such as cupping therapy, bee venom, phytotherapy... etc), in addition the interest of the youth group for alternative complementary treatments has increased significantly in the recent period, due to the multiplication of complementary treatment centers, especially cupping therapy in the Souk Ahras region, whether by legal means or in secret. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- يركز هذا العمل على الطرق الأكثر شيوعا في الطب التكميلي، تحديدا في ولاية سوق أهراس. لهذا الغرض تم إجراء استبيان الكتروني في مدة 5 أشهر (من 13 أكتوبر 2022 إلى 13 فيفري 2023)، شمل 205 شخص. رأينا من خلاله مدى معرفة الناس للطب التكميلي، أسباب استخدامهم له، نظرتهم للعلاجات التكميلية، اقتراحاتهم المقدمة للنهوض بالقطاع...الخ. أجريت أيضا دراسة حالة في مركزين متخصصين في الطب التكميلي( شملت 180 مريض)، درسنا خلالها عدة معايير أبرزها طرق العلاج التكميلي في كل مركز، الجنس، العمر، الوضع المهني للمرضى... تبيّن من خلال النتائج المتحصل عليها أنّ غالبية المرضى تتراوح أعمارهم بين 21 و40 سنة، عاملين في قطاعات مهنية مختلفة أغلبهم نساء باعتبارهم الفئة الأكثر إقبالا على العلاجات التكميلية( العلاج بالحجامة، سم النحل، الأعشاب الطبية..). تشير نتائجنا إلى زيادة اهتمام الفئة الشبابية بالعلاجات التكميلية بشكل ملحوظ في الآونة الأخيرة، نظرا إلى انتشار مراكز العلاج التكميلي البديل وخاصة العلاج بالحجامة في ولاية سوق أهراس سواء بالطرق القانونية أو في الخفاء. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ce travail se concentre sur les méthodes plébiscitées en médecine complémentaire, en particulier à Souk-Ahras. A cet effet, d’abord un sondage électronique a été mené, d’une durée de 5 mois (du 13 octobre 2022 au 13 février 2023), auprès de 205 personnes. Plusieurs informations ont été récoltées d’après le questionnaire ; l’étendu de leur connaissance en médecine complémentaire, ainsi que les raisons pour lesquelles ils y ont recours, leur vision des thérapies complémentaires…etc. Une étude de cas dans deux centres spécialisés en médecine complémentaire a été menée également (au total 180 patients), au cours de laquelle plusieurs paramètres ont été considérés, viz. les modalités des traitements complémentaires dans chaque centre, le sexe, l’âge et la situation professionnelle des patients... D’après les résultats obtenus, la majorité des patients traités ont entre 21 et 40 ans, dont la plupart sont des employés dans différents secteurs. Il a été indiqué aussi que les femmes sont la catégorie la plus encline aux médecines complémentaires (telles que la thérapie par ventouses, le venin d’abeille, la phytothérapie…etc.), en plus l’intérêt du groupe des jeunes pour les traitements complémentaires alternatives a augmenté de manière significative dans la période récente, en raison de la multiplication des centres de traitement complémentaires, en particulier la thérapie par ventouses à la région de Souk-Ahras, que ce soit par des moyens légaux ou en secret.
