Abstract

Summary The aesthetics of narration in documentary films are considered one of the essential elements that contribute to attracting viewers and delivering messages in an impactful way. Documentary films focus on presenting facts and real-life topics through artistic and creative methods, which enables them to influence the audience’s awareness and stimulate their thinking by transforming important issues. Here lies the importance of the topic: the documentary film Food, Our Path to Extinction addresses the issue of sustainability and the environmental impact of the food industry. It combines scientific data with personal experiences. Statistics are presented through rich environmental cinematography that enhances the narrative’s impact. The beautiful scenes of pristine nature, how it has become devastated, and how the farmers’ conditions have changed after environmental degradation and the risks of climate change, all generate a feeling of concern and a desire for change. As discussed in both the theoretical and practical chapters, we covered the most important elements serving the topic. The theoretical chapter included: narration in documentary films, the concept of cinematic narration, types of cinematic narration, forms of cinematic narration, documentary film trends, and characteristics of documentary films. In the practical chapter, we analyzed the film through technical segmentation with commentary, close reading of scenes, followed by some deep implicit analyses of the film. The documentary film combines art and a humanitarian message aimed at creating change in various fundamental issues concerning humanity. The techniques the film relies on to convey a scene significantly affect the viewer and invite them to reflect ----------------- الملخص جماليات السرد في الافلام الوثائقية تعتبر واحدة من العناصر الاساسية التي تسهم في جذب المشاهدين وايصال الرسائل بطريقة مؤثرة. الافلام الوثائقية تركز على تقديم الحقائق والمواضيع الواقعية بطرق فنية وابداعية، مما يجعلها قادرة على التأثير في وعي الجمهور وتحفيز تفكيره محول قضايا مهمة. ومن هنا تكمن اهمية الموضوع في ان الفيلم الوثائقي الطعام طريقنا الى الانقراض يتناول قضية الاستدامة والتأثير البيئي لصناعة الغذاء، حيث أنه يجمع بين البيانات العلمية والتجارب الشخصية. ومن خلال التصوير الغني للبيئة يعزز من تأثير السرد. تساهم المشاهد الجميلة للطبيعة البكر كيف اصبحت بعد خرابها وان المزارعون كيف اصبحت حالتهم بعد التدهور البيئي الذي حصل للبيئة ومخاطر التغير المناخي، مما يولد شعورا بالقلق والرغبة في التغيير. وكما تطرقنا في الفصل النظري والتطبيقي الى أهم العناصر الخادمة الموضوع . الفصل النظري التسريد في الفيلم الوثائقي، مفهوم التسريد الفيلمي، أنواع التسريد الفيلمي، أشكال التسريد الفيلمي، اتجاهات الفيلم الوثائقي، خصائص الفيلم الوثائقي. اما في الفصل التطبيقي فتطرقنا الى تحليل الفيلم من خلال تقطيع تقني للفيلم مع التعليق له، القراءة العينية للمقاطع، وبعدها بعض التحليلات الضمنية العميقة للفيلم. الفيلم الوثائقي يجمع بين الفن والرسالة الانسانية التي تتمثل في احداث التغيير في مختلف القضايا الاساسية التي تخص الإنسانية. ان التقنيات التي يعتمد عليها الفيلم في نقل مشهد ما تؤثر بشكل كبير في على المشاهد وتدعوه الى التأمل. ---------------------- Résumé L’esthétique de la narration dans les films documentaires constitue l’un des éléments essentiels qui contribuent à attirer les spectateurs et à transmettre les messages de manière impactante. Les films documentaires se concentrent sur la présentation des faits et des sujets réels par des moyens artistiques et créatifs, ce qui leur permet d’influencer la conscience du public et de stimuler sa réflexion en abordant des questions importantes. C’est dans ce contexte que réside l’importance du sujet : le film documentaire La nourriture, notre chemin vers l’extinction traite de la durabilité et de l’impact environnemental de l’industrie alimentaire. Il combine des données scientifiques avec des expériences personnelles. Les statistiques sont présentées à travers des images riches de l’environnement, ce qui renforce l’impact de la narration. Les belles scènes de la nature vierge, devenues ensuite dévastées, ainsi que la situation des agriculteurs après la dégradation environnementale et les risques du changement climatique, suscitent un sentiment d’inquiétude et un désir de changement. Chapitre pratique : analyse du film à travers un découpage technique avec commentaires, lecture détaillée des séquences, puis des analyses implicites approfondies du film. Le film documentaire allie l’art et le message humanitaire, qui vise à provoquer un changement dans diverses questions fondamentales concernant l’humanité.
