The purpose of the current exploratory study is to demonstrate the efficiency of using youtube videos to enhance the speaking skill of second year EFL students at Mohammed Cherif Messaidia University in Souk-Ahras.To test the main hypothesis that suggests the possibility of improving the speaking skill through the use of youtube videos, two instruments were used: a students’ questionnaire and a structured interview with 05 oral expression teachers. The questionnaire provided to second year EFL students to explore their attitudes about using youtube videos in order to develop their speaking and overcome their difficulties. Besides the teachers’ interview that investigates how this tool is integrated by teachers and what is their attitudes towards their incorporation of youtube videos. The obtained results were confirmed the hypothesis established at the beginning of the study. It prooved that youtube videos reflect positively on students’ oral performance and enhance their speaking skill to a high level.

الغرض من الدراسة الاستكشافية الحالية هو إظهار كفاءة استخدام فيديوهات اليوتيوب لتعزيز مهارة التحدث لدى طلاب السنة الثانية من جامعة محمد الشريف مساعدية في سوق أهراس لاختبار الفرضية الرئيسية التي تقترح إمكانية تحسين مهارة التحدث من خلال استخدام مقاطع فيديو يوتيوب ، تم استخدام أداتين: استبيان للطلاب ومقابلة شبه منظمة مع 05 مدرسين للتعبير الشفهي. الاستبيان المقدم لطلاب السنة الثانية من اللغة الإنجليزية كلغة أجنبية للتحقيق في مواقفهم حول استخدام مقاطع فيديو يوتيوب من أجل تطوير حديثهم والتغلب على الصعوبات التي يواجهونها. إلى جانب مقابلة المعلمين التي تبحث في كيفية دمج المعلمين لهذه الأداة وما هي مواقفهم تجاه دمجهم لمقاطع فيديو يوتيوب. تم تأكيد النتائج التي تم الحصول عليها على الفرضية التي تم وضعها في بداية الدراسة. وأثبتت أن مقاطع فيديويوتيوب تنعكس بشكل إيجابي على الأداء الشفوي للطلاب وتعزز مهارة التحدث لديهم إلى مستوى عالٍ.

Le but de l'étude exploratoire en cours est de démontrer l'efficacité de l'utilisation de vidéos Youtube pour améliorer les compétences orales des étudiants de deuxième année d’anglais à l'Université Mohammed Cherif Messaidia à Souk-Ahras pour Tester l'hypothèse principale qui suggère la possibilité d'améliorer la compétence orale. à travers l'utilisation de vidéos youtube, deux instruments ont été utilisés : un questionnaire élèves et une interview directif auprès de 05 professeurs d'expression orale. Le questionnaire fourni aux étudiants de deuxième année d’anglais pour enquêter sur leurs attitudes à l'égard de l'utilisation de vidéos youtube afin de développer leur expression orale et de surmonter leurs difficultés. Outre l'interview des enseignants qui étudie comment cet outil est intégré par les enseignants et quelle est leur attitude vis-à-vis de leur incorporation de vidéos youtube. Les résultats obtenus ont confirmé l'hypothèse établie au début de l'étude. Cela a prouvé que les vidéos YouTube ont un impact positif sur les performances orales des élèves et améliorent leurs compétences orales à un niveau élevé.
