Analyse Prosodique et acoustique du Chant Haouzi Algérien

Abstract

Abstract This study presents a prosodic analysis of Haouzi singing, a traditional poetic-musical genre rooted in Algerian Andalusian heritage. By examining three representative pieces, we highlight the structural role of suprasegmental features — intonation, rhythm, stress, and pauses — in shaping meaning, conveying emotion, and enhancing the interpretation of the sung text. Combining tools from acoustic phonetics (Praat) and musical transcription (MuseScore Studio), our interdisciplinary approach shows that prosody is not merely a vocal embellishment, but a core component of Haouzi’s expressive system. This work contributes to a better linguistic understanding of Algerian oral heritage and opens new pathways for research in applied prosody and traditional music. --------------------- الملخص تقدّم هذه الدراسة تحليلاً نغميًّا لغناء الحوزي، وهو نوع شعري-موسيقي تقليدي ينتمي إلى التراث الأندلسي الجزائري. من خلال تحليل ثلاث قصائد مختارة، نسلّط الضوء على الدور البنيوي للسمات فوق المقطعية — مثل التنغيم، الإيقاع، التشكيل النبري، والتوقفات — في بناء المعنى، ونقل العاطفة، وتفسير النص المغنّى. بالاستعانة بأدوات من الفونيتك الصوتي .(MuseScore Studio)،و التدوين الموسيقي (Praat) تكشف منهجيتنا متعددة التخصصات أنّ العروض ليس مجرد زينة صوتية، بل عنصر جوهري في النظام التعبيري لغناء الحوزي. وتساهم هذه الدراسة في فهم لغوي أعمق للتراث الشفهي الجزائري، وتفتح آفاقًا جديدة للبحث في العروض التطبيقي المرتبط بالموسيقى التقليدية . ------------------ Résumé Cette étude propose une analyse prosodique du chant Haouzi, genre poético-musical traditionnel issu du patrimoine andalou algérien. À travers l’examen de trois œuvres représentatives, nous avons mis en évidence le rôle structurant des traits suprasegmentaux -intonation, rythme, accentuation, pauses- dans la construction du sens, l’émotion transmise et l’interprétation du texte chanté. En croisant des outils informatiques issus de la phonétique acoustique (Praat) et de la transcription musicale (MuseScore Studio), notre approche pluridisciplinaire révèle que la prosodie, loin d’être un simple ornement vocal, constitue une composante essentielle du système expressif du Haouzi. Ce travail contribue ainsi à une meilleure compréhension linguistique du patrimoine oral algérien et ouvre la voie à de futures recherches en prosodie appliquée à la musique traditionnelle
