La culture de l’autre dans l’enseignement/apprentissage du français au CEIL : cas des étudiants de A2 : quelles représentations et quels enjeux ?

Abstract

Abstract Our research explores the teaching / learning of French at the Center de Formation Intensive des Langues de Souk ahras (CEIL) focusing on the unit "Call to nature" of the textbook "Edito, method of French" level A2 , as well as the representations of learners of the same level. The manual adopts a pedagogical approach based on communication, action and interculturality, promoting the development of learners' communicative and intercultural skills. Our study of learners' representations shows motivations related to their professional needs and personal interests with a generally positive perception of French language and culture despite the negative aspects of its colonial history. Challenges include language gaps and cultural adaptation difficulties. Language training at CEIL has brought about significant improvements in language, communication and intercultural skills. Although our study has some limitations due to the small sample size, it opens avenues for further in-depth research in this area. ------------ ملخص يستكشف بحثنا تدريس/تعلم اللغة الفرنسية في مركز التكوين المكثف للغات سوق الأهراس (CEIL) مع التركيز على وحدة "الدعوة إلى الطبيعة" من الكتاب المدرسي "تحرير طريقة اللغة الفرنسية" المستوى A2، بالإضافة إلى التمثيلات من المتعلمين من نفس المستوى . يعتمد الدليل نهجا تربويا يعتمد على التواصل والعمل والتفاعل بين الثقافات، مما يعزز تنمية مهارات التواصل والثقافات لدى المتعلمين. تُظهر دراستنا لتمثيلات المتعلمين الدوافع المتعلقة باحتياجاتهم المهنية واهتماماتهم الشخصية مع تصور إيجابي بشكل عام للغة والثقافة الفرنسية على الرغم من الجوانب السلبية لتاريخها الاستعماري. وتشمل التحديات الفجوات اللغوية وصعوبات التكيف الثقافي. أدى التدريب اللغوي في CEIL إلى تحسينات كبيرة في مهارات اللغة والتواصل والتفاعل بين الثقافات. على الرغم من أن دراستنا بها بعض القيود بسبب صغر حجم العينة، إلا أنها تفتح آفاقًا لمزيد من البحث المتعمق في هذا المجال. ---------------------- Résumé

Notre recherche explore l'enseignement /l'apprentissage du français au Centre de Formation Intensive des Langues de Souk ahras (CEIL). Cette étude s’est basée, d’une part, sur la description de l'unité "Appel à la nature" du manuel "Edito, méthode de français" de niveau A2 et, d’autre part, sur l’identification des représentations développées par les apprenants poursuivant une formation dans ce même niveau. Le manuel adopte une approche pédagogique axée sur la communication, l'action et l'interculturalité, favorisant le développement des compétences communicatives et interculturelles des apprenants. L’analyse des questionnaires sur les représentations a montré la motivation des personnes interrogées quant à leur formation en langue française. Cet intérêt porté à la langue s’explique par des besoins professionnels et personnels. Des représentations positives de la langue et de la culture françaises se dégagent de leurs déclarations en dépit de quelques appréhensions liées au poids de l’histoire coloniale.
